Bangladesh Film Institute (BFI) is a non-commercial organization dedicated to teach the art of cinema and film-making to the young aspiring filmmakers of Bangladesh. Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Tanvir Mokammel and his professional film unit spend a lot of their quality time teaching cinema to the young generation at the Bangladesh Film Institute (BFI) at a minimum cost.
The Bangladesh Film Institute (BFI) has been teaching cinema since 2005 and so far around one thousand students have passed out from the different courses and workshops conducted by Bangladesh Film Institute (BFI) and contributions of some of these ex-BFI students are now visible in the film, television and media sectors in Bangladesh.

Welcome to the website of Bangladesh Film Institute (BFI), an organization dedicated to teach the art of filmmaking to new aspirants filmmakers. Run by a professionally skilled film teachers. Bangladesh Film Institute (BFI) has been active in teaching cinema for the last two decades.
So far more than one thousand students have passed out from Bangladesh Film Institute (BFI) and are now making their marks in the film and television sectors in Bangladesh. We welcome students from abroad also.
