BFIAA Biennial Conference 2021

BFIAA — Bangladesh Film Institute Alumni Association

The Bangladesh Film Institute Alumni Association (BFIAA) is the official alumni body of graduates from the Bangladesh Film Institute (BFI). It serves as a bridge between past students and the broader film community, fostering ongoing creative and professional connections.

BFIAA organizes Biennial Conferences that bring together filmmakers, archivists, critics, and enthusiasts from across the nation. These events serve as a vital platform for dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and celebrating Bangladesh’s rich cinematic heritage.

Through screenings, panel discussions, workshops, and collaborative projects, BFIAA continues to strengthen the community of Bangladeshi film culture and scholarship — carrying forward the legacy established by the Bangladesh Film Institute since 2005.
